| Prophet of Doom |
For
years, the Pentagon has attempted to keep discussion of
Islam rises and falls on Muhammad. He is the religion's sole
prophet, Islams solitary example, Allahs lone conduit. Without Muhammad, Allah,
the Quran, and Islam would be unknown. Yet the picture the Islamic scriptures
paint of this man is not flattering; his words arent believable. According to
the Quran and Hadith, Muhammad was a thief, rapist, and terrorist. Its hardly
the example you would want your neighbor to emulate. Muhammad, Allah, Mecca,
and the formation of Islam are completely unknown to secular history. All we
know of them is derived from the Quran and Hadith. The earliest and most
important collection of Hadith is called the Sira, or Biography. Compiled by
Ibn Ishaq, the Sira provides the only written account of this man, his god,
place and religion within two centuries of his death. There is no other valid
source from which Muhammad can be seen, or Islam can be interpreted,
differently. To write Prophet of
Doom, I analyzed the Sira, the Tarikh, or History of al-Tabari, and the
topical Hadith collections of Bukhari and Muslim. Using Islams most holy books
I was able to reorder the Quran chronologically and set it into the context of
Muhammads life. The result is bone chilling. The depiction of the prophet by
the most revered Muslim sources reveals behavior that is immoral, criminal, and
violent.

fourth-graders performing poorly, middle school students worse and high school
students are unable to compete. By the same criteria used to say we were
"average" in elementary school, "we appear to be "near the bottom" at the high
school level. People have a tendency to think this picture is bleak but it
doesn't apply to their own school. Chances are, even if your school compares
well in SAT scores, it will still be a lightweight on an international

| Cleric supports targeting children |
| An extremist Islamic cleric based in Britain said yesterday
that he would support hostage-taking at British schools if carried out by
terrorists with a just cause. Omar Bakri Mohammed, the spiritual leader of the
extremist sect
al-Muhajiroun,
said that holding women and children hostage would be a reasonable course of
action for a Muslim who has suffered under British rule. In an interview with
The Sunday Telegraph, Mr Mohammed said: "If an Iraqi Muslim carried out an
attack like that in Britain, it would be justified because Britain has carried
out acts of terrorism in Iraq. |
